Actors and actresses often fall in love with their co-stars or actor friends while they are working together in several projects. This has become a trend since ages as Bollywood witnessed some of the super duper hit onscreen jodis uniting for a lifetime. Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bhaduri, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, Dharmendra and Hema Malini, Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan, Twinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar, the list is never ending but the trend is still on.
Well, there were many actors and actresses who dated their co-stars, however, they parted ways, some are still friends and some have become foes.
Jacqueline Fernandez has become quite popular in Bollywood and also has a lot of friends in the industry. From Sonam Kapoor to Karan Johar, the actress maintains close bonds with many of them. However, one thing she will never do is never date any of the actors.
She says, “There is too much going on in an actor’s life. It’s preoccupying and you have to be someone who can take a lot. I don’t want that stress in my life. Actors need supportive people around them. As for me, I’m independent and do my own thing. So I need someone who can complement that.”
Actresses who are often questioned about their personal life, Jacqueline finds it annoying when people ask her about marriage. She says, “Why has marriage become such a necessity? It’s so unfair! You’re your own person, why is it always about a man?”
She further added, “If it happens it happens, if it doesn’t it doesn’t.”
She doesn’t see how it would make a difference to her life. However she feels there is too much pressure on girls. “They feel terrible about it when they shouldn’t.”
Jacqueline was earlier linked up with her A Gentleman co-star Sidharth Malhotra and when she was asked about it, she said, “If I’m dating someone, I don’t need to hide it from anyone. I’m not a 12-year-old who has to hide her relationships. I’m a grown-up girl. If I was dating someone it wouldn’t be a big deal for me anymore. I would honestly admit to it.”
Apart from that, the actress was also linked with Riteish Deshmukh in the early days of her career. Jacky also dated Sajid Khan, however, they parted ways in some time.
