Showbiz celebrities have said Kashmiris are rendering unprecedented sacrifices for their right to self-determination and they are being persecuted for demanding their birth right of freedom.
They said that silence on the part of international community on Indian forces brutalities against innocent Kashmiris is deplorable.
The film and drama artists including Qavi Khan, Shan, Moammar Rana, Afzal Khan, Said Noor, Noman Ijaz, Iftikhar Thakar, Nasim Viki , Ahsan Khan, Sana, Resham, Mediha Shah, Saira Nasim and Shabnam Majid said in their statements on Kashmir solidarity day that India is trampling the rights of people of Kashmir since the last several decades.
They held that India violated international laws by scrapping the special status of Kashmir on February 05. The nefarious tactics of Indian government cannot gag the voice of Kashmiris.
They said the time is not far off when Kashmiris will unfetter them from the Indian repression and the day of freedom for Kashmiris will dawn.
The celebrities said our Kashmiri brothers and sisters are not away from our hearts and our relation with them is relation of body and soul.
