Sridevi’s darling daughter, Janhvi Kapoor will mark her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s Dhadak that releases this week. The star kid is all set to step in her mommy’s shoes and embrace Bollywood just the way Sridevi did. She knows she’ll be compared to her late mommy but she feels that isn’t fair for her really. She also feels the whole debate around nepotism doesn’t hold true in her case for she had to audition for her role. Karan didn’t offer her the movie directly but she had to prove her worth for it. While competition is an inevitable part of the movie industry, she doesn’t think Sara Ali Khan is her competitor really. Bollywood’s two beautiful star kids, Sara and Janhvi will mark their debut this year and comparisons are bound to crop up. When the Dhadak actress was asked by Deccan Chronicle if she feels Sara is her competition, she said, “There is no competition. I am looking forward to watching her films as an audience member. Talking about Sara, the yet to debut actress has already grabbed her second movie, Simmba with Ranveer Singh after Kedarnath with Sushant Singh Rajput. While Janhvi still has no second movie in her kitty. There were rumours that she has signed a film down south but the star kid refutes it completely. “I have heard that rumour. But no, I am not doing any south film. At the moment, my priority is Dhadak. I am concentrating on promoting my first film before taking on anything else. That is the only movie on my mind.” Guess she made it loud and clear that she is still reading scripts for her second Bollywood movie and unless there’s an official announcement, no one should believe anything.
