Ranveer Singh who is always seen enjoying and is a power pack of energy is in grief due to the sudden demise of his grandmother. The actor was very close to his grandma. His alleged girlfriend Deepika Padukone also visited his grandmother when she wasn’t well. According to the sources Ranveer’s grandmother was not keeping well for many days. In an interview, Ranveer Singh expressed his love towards grandma and said “As important to me as oxygen and water. I am very affectionate with everybody -my fans, my family. I was raised that way. My grandmother mollycoddled me. There was lots of hugging and kissing in my house”. The actor who is a brand ambassador of Switzerland Tourism has also cancelled his press conference for the same which was scheduled to be held today in afternoon. Its a great loss for Ranveer as he was very affectionate towards his grandmother. The day before yesterday Ranveer was spotted partying with B-town celebs Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Akshay Kumar, Twinkle Khanna and Sanjay Kapoor at Ritesh Sidhwani’s house and this news came out as a shock. Ranveer’s grandmother who was ill for many days was also visited by Deepika Padukone in January. She took her last breath yesterday in the night and reason of her death is not yet confirmed. Talking about his work-front Ranveer Singh will appear in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’ opposite Alia Bhatt. He is also starring in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Simmba’ and Kapil Dev’s biopic ’83’. Fans are giving him condolence messages and are praying for her grandmother’s soul to rest in peace. This loss has also affected Ranveer’s commitments. He has postponed some events and everyone is hoping that the actor once again entertains us soon and gets the strength of facing this difficult situation in his life.
