On Anaita Shroff Adajania’s chat show, Janhvi Kapoor once disclosed that Khushi Kapoor will be making her Bollywood debut only after she finishes a course at the New York Film Academy. Khushi Kapoor left the nest yesterday and was spotted at the Mumbai airport leaving for New York.
Her father, Boney Kapoor, and few of her close friends came to see Khushi off yesterday. Both father-daughter were snapped in their joggers and sneakers. While her father, Boney Kapoor, was all smiles, Khushi got a little emotional while bidding adieu to her family and friends.
Even though elder sister, Janhvi Kapoor, wasn’t there to see Khushi Kapoor off, she did make it a point to show her baby sister some social media love. She captioned the picture as, “Fur is faux but our love isn’t #prayingfornyc”
Janhvi has said it often that Khushi is an important part of her life. In fact, last Sunday, the girls were pepped as they stepped out to grab lunch at Bastian in Bandra. We guess Khushi Kapoor had plenty of friends to meet and say bye to before leaving for New York. While Janhvi looked sporty in that blue jumpsuit, Khushi looked like a dream in that red, flowy dress. Khushi will be off to college for two years. As for her elder sister, Janhvi Kapoor is busy with her current film projects. She not only has one film project in the pipeline but four! We can’t wait for her upcoming movies Gunjan Saxena – The Kargil Girl, RoohiAfza, Takht and Dostana 2. Our girl is going places!
