Additional session judge Adnan Tariq took up the “Meera Nikah revocation case” for hearing on Thursday. During the course of hearing, Judge Adnan Tariq ordered that court staff of family court should submit record of actress Meera in the session court forthwith. Later court adjourned the hearing of case till September 20. Actress Meera has challenged in Sessions court the decision of family court against her She took the plea that Family court has given decision contrary to facts in Nikah revocation case.
Petitioner further took the plea that she does not even know Attiqur Rehman and also didn’t do marriage with him.
She said Attiqur-Rehman has misguided the court. She prayed that session court should set aside the decision of declaring her as wife of Attiqur Rehman.
