Khulna continue their winning streak with a 9-run win over Rangpur in the 25th match of Bangladesh Premier League at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong today. A fluent fifty from Khulna skipper Mahmudullah Riyad (59) helped put up a competitive total. He was also adjudged the man of the match. Despite losing 4 early wickets for just 45 runs in 8 overs, Rangpur put up a good resistance to Khulna’Ds bowling attack with their 4th wicket partnership of 100 runs by Ravi Bopara (59) and Nahidul Islam (58) but fell short during the closing stages of the game. But both of them were dismissed in the last over as Khulna sealed their victory. With the victory, Khulna tops the BPL points table.
