If Karan Johar is on cloud nine professionally, with his productions hitting the bull's eye at the box office, things are going swimmingly in his personal life as well. Karan, who is father to twins Yash and Roohi, is enjoying every moment of parenthood. The Ae Dil Hai Mushkil director has no qualms about being a single parent. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Karan said that he was not losing any sleep over not finding a life partner. "I don't fear it, I don't care about finding a life partner anymore. I already have my life partners - my children and my mom. I am grateful," he said. Karan has been in love before, but it ended in heartbreak. At the India Today Conclave 2017, he said, "People say Hindi films are theatrical and dramatic, but somewhere its roots are in real life. I have been at a shaadi ka mandap when the love of my life was getting married to somebody else... When it happens to you, you feel like you can't get over what's happening to you." However, the filmmaker does not believe in wallowing in self-pity over his failed relationships. "Self-pity is a spa, it's a great place to be in for a few days. Self-pity can take you through everything and then destroy you. So get out of it as soon as possible. Make your work your ambition. Not your love life," Karan said, when he was asked for advice on how to get over a broken heart. On the work front, Karan's last production, Meghna Gulzar's Raazi, starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, is inching towards the Rs 100-crore club. Meanwhile, Bucket List, a Marathi film produced by him that stars Madhuri Dixit in the lead, hits the screens today.
