Tara Sutaria is yet to make her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar's Student Of The Year 2, but the new actress on the block has already bagged another plum project. Tara will play the leading lady in Arjun Reddy Hindi remake, and will share screen space with Shahid Kapoor in her second project. "The leading lady had to be someone who looked innocent and vulnerable as that was the need of the character. Tara is perfect for the role. The film is expected to go on floors this July," a source told DNA. Arjun Reddy is a 2017 Telugu blockbuster. In fact, producers Ashwin Varde and Murad Khetani paid a whopping Rs 7 crore to acquire the remake rights of Arjun Reddy. It is for the first time that Shahid will share screen space with Tara in a film. Arjun Reddy is about an aspiring medical student who goes down the road of destruction post a failed relationship. He suffers temperament issues and resorts to alcohol and substance abuse. The film opened to rave reviews and became of the biggest hits in Tollywood last year.
