Telugu hit film Arundhati will reportedly be remade in Hindi soon. The film got a lot of recognition and love to South star Anushka Shetty and now latest reports suggest that two big filmmakers of Bollywood have taken over the rights of the film to be made in Hindi. According to a source that revealed the details about the project to a leading daily, the film’s maker want either Anushka Sharma or Kareena Kapoor Khan to play the lead role in the period film. The source told the daily, “The film is finally being made in Hindi after 10 years, as the subject has a period feel to it and will be very relevant. If Kareena’s dates don’t work out, Anushka Sharma could be an option. When the film went to Anushka first, she could not do it due to her busy schedules and contractual obligations.” Well, we hope an official announcement is made soon.
