It is already a common knowledge that Vidya Balan has been approached to play a key role in Telugu biopic of actor-politician NTR. While NTR's son Balakrishna will play the role of his father, Vidya Balan was asked to play NTR's wife Basavatarakam. As Vidya Balan was taking some time to give her green signal to the offer, she had a surprise guest atn her Mumbai residence. It was Balakrishna himself! The Telugu superstar was particular that it should be Vidya Balan, who should play the role and hence has come down all the way to meet the Tumhari Sulu actress. An entertainment website quoted a source saying, "NTR's son decided to meet Vidya before she reverted to him with the final answer. He was extremely keen, rather clear that it will be Vidya Balan and no one else." The meeting went well, and Vidya is now all set to act in the much-anticipated biopic, which will go on floors soon. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the film will have Kahaani actress as Basavatarakam, the first wife of the former CM of undivided Andhra Pradesh.
