Be it taking up new concepts or going bold for their shows, rarely do we see actresses push the envelope on the small screen. But there are always exceptions to that rule when actresses break away from the image of the quintessential sari-clad bahu, and one such actress is Smiriti Kalra. Comfortable in her skin, Smiriti is currently shooting for her TV show 'Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara' in a rather bold avatar. We hear that the actress has donned a swimsuit for the first time on screen. Talking about the scene, Smiriti says,"I have always represented myself the way the role demanded. So, when the track required me to wear a swimsuit, I did. I had no second thoughts about it. It's my job. I don't think that I have crossed any line. Boundaries, which we create, change with time and circumstances." The actress, who is a thorough professional, also believes that all work and no play makes Jill a dull girl! So, while she was not shooting, Smiriti gorged on yummy cookies in between breaks. She adds, "My co-actor Aashim Gulati and I had great time in the pool. In fact, I couldn't stop laughing my guts out while enacting the scene, while Aashim kept telling me not to laugh as he was finding it tough to act."
