Bollywood actor Diana Penty is all set to make her debut on the red carpet at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival, as suggested by reports. She will represent an alcohol brand at the French Riviera. The festival celebrates cinema from across the world. A Mumbai Mirror report quoted Diana as saying, “India has seen great recognition and appreciation at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in recent years. Diana made her debut with Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan in Cocktail. She has also worked in films such as Lucknow Central, Happy Bhag Jayegi, Parmanu - The Story of Pokhran among others. She was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi. Talking about her diet plan ahead of the event, Diana had recently told Hindustan Times, “I don’t believe in extreme diets. For me, staying away from sugar and processed foods, eating home-cooked meals and exercising regularly is the key.” This year, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kangana Ranaut, Sonam Kapoor and Huma Qureshi and TV actor Hina Khan will attend the festival. While Deepika is expected to walk the red carpet on May 16, Aishwarya , may reach Cannes by May 19. Sonam may appear on the red carpet on May 20-21. Kangana Ranaut is also set to make her red carpet appearance at the 72nd edition of the festival that will be held between May 14 and May 25. Music maestro AR Rahman screened six minutes of his VR film, Le Musk at the film festival on May 14.
