Even before making a splash in Bollywood, Ananya Panday is quite the social media sensation. When she is not in the news for making her 'debut' in high society at le Bal des Debutantes in Paris, she is sending fans into a frenzy as she parties with fellow star kids, Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana and Sanjay Kapoor's daughter Shanaya. Ananya was all set to be launched in Student Of The Year 2, but the release of the film has been pushed to next year. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the 19-year-old will now make her debut with Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy, which stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. Ananya has a special appearance in the film. While Student Of the Year 2 will now hit the theatres on May 10, 2019, Gully Boy is slated to release on Valentine's Day (February 14) next year. In an earlier interview, Ananya's father Chunky Panday had said that Student Of The Year 2 was a dream debut for her. "She couldnt have asked for anything better than this. She went and auditioned for it and when she got confirmed, her excitement was next level," he said. While Student Of The Year was directed by Karan Johar, he will only produce the sequel. Student Of The Year 2 will be directed by Punit Malhotra of I Hate Luv Storys fame. The film, which will be Tiger Shroff's entry into the romantic-comedy genre, also marks the debut of Tara Sutaria.
