Selena Gomez is currently seeking treatment for her anxiety after suffering from an emotional breakdown while in the hospital. Earlier this year, Selena had to undergo a two-week program for her anxiety and depression after facing various health obstacles. She had completed the program too. But recently the singer had to be hospitalised twice for health complications because of her ongoing battle with Lupus which is when she had the breakdown. A source told the People magazine, "She has had a tough few weeks and the panic attack in the hospital was the tipping point." The source added, "She realized she needed to seek additional help for her ongoing emotional issues. She’s surrounded by close family and has a lot of support. She’s doing better now and is seeking treatment on the East Coast." The singer is apparently undergoing dialectical behavior therapy in order to help her transform and cope with negative thinking and behavioral patterns. The singer is also taking a break from social media in order to cope with her anxiety and stay away from critical comments. She had written on her Instagram, "As much as I am grateful for the voice that social media gives each of us, I am equally grateful to be able to step back and live my life present to the moment I have been given. Kindness and encouragement only for a bit! Just remembernegative comments can hurt anybody’s feelings."
