There have been rumours doing rounds in the tinsel town that Ekta Kapoor is going to make Karan Johar’s popular film, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’s TV remake, ‘Dil Hi Toh Hai’. Well, ever since the reports came out, many people are now excited to know who will be playing what. Well, K3G stars Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles. Hence, everyone is excited to know the cast for ‘Dil Hi Toh Hai’. Among all the cast, the most impressive and quite challenging role was Kajol’s role Anjali, who is an out-spoken, chirpy and brash girl from the lane of Chandni Chowk, Delhi. As per reports, Erica Fernandez was considered for Kajol or Kareena’s role. But now, the latest reports are stating that Ekta Kapoor has chosen Yogita Bihani for Kajol’s role in ‘Dil Hi Toh Hai’. Yogita Bihani is the one who was seen in Dus Ka Dum’s latest promo with none other than Salman Khan. Earlier, a source quoted Mumbai Mirror, “Bijoy Anand, who played Kajol’s wayward fiancé in the 1998 romcom Pyaar Toh Hona Hi Tha, has been cast to play Amitabh Bachchan’s patriarch, Yashvardhan Raichand, while Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi actress Erica Fernandes is in talks to play either Kajol’s talkative character Anjali or her younger sister, Pooja (popularised by Kareena as ‘Poo’). The part will be finalised after a look test.”
