MUMBAI: Muti-talented singer, Akasa, who has grabbed eyeballs for her earlier performance is set to release her original single, Thug Ranjha. To be released under the label Sony Music, this is Akasa’s first pop song. On her song, Akasa says, “It is finally happening, this is a song that is created for this generation and everyone will relate to it. I can’t wait for it to release!” The Global Music Giant is currently working on the video which is being shot in Mumbai. Written and composed by Bollywood’s quirky writer Vayu and also co-composed by Akasa, the song has a swoony, yet boisterous groove and talks about boys who are of the belief that the world revolves around them. Popularly known for her hit single Kheech Meri Photo, which was also her Bollywood debut, became a selfie anthem for the youth. Akasa has been applauded by the music industry for her unique voice. Thug Ranjha will be releasing in the second week of May 2018.
