She talked over her comeback on the small screen, and about playing the iconic character of Prerna Basu in the interview. When asked how did she get this role, she said that her first show (Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi) ended recently, and her recital in the show was loved by the show makers and that is the main reason behind her getting the popular role. She said that when she signed the show, she was very happy and excited but simultaneously there was and is a little pressure as the viewers and makers have high expectations of her. When asked, have you watched Kasautii in your childhood, the actress answered, “Yes, of course, this was one of the many K series shows that I grew up watching.
