Tom Holland reacted to the epic mid-credits scene of Spider-Man: Far From Home, which had everyone shocked. Read below to know what the actor had to say on the same. The mid-credits scene shows Spider-Man viewing a news report in which an apparently dying Mysterio reveals that Spider-Man is, in fact, Peter Parker. However, what's even more shocking for fans of Spider-Man than this change in the status quo, is that the person revealing this information to the world is one J. Jonah Jameson, and that JJ is played by the great J.K Simmons. Simmons played the exact same role in the three Spider-Man movies directed by Sam Raimi and starring Tobey Maguire. He was, without question, one of the highlights of the trilogy and he was so good in the role that it has become difficult to imagine anybody else playing the part. It was likely for this reason that the Spider-Man: Far From Home team didn't even try to cast somebody else. The world has been talking about the scene ever since Spider-Man: Far From Home came out, but CinemaBlend's own Sean O'Connell had a chance to ask Tom Holland what he thought of the scene, and of the potential opportunity to act opposite J.K. Simmons in a future movie. Holland was, uncharacteristically, quiet about the future, but did make it clear that the potential excites him. J.K. Simmons isn't just the best J. Jonah Jameson we've ever seen. he's also an Academy Award winning actor who is great in pretty much everything he's ever been in. It's no wonder that Tom Holland is excited by the idea of working with him in the future. At this point it's unclear if there's already a specific plan in place for the third Spider-Man film, or if that work is going to be gfetting underway soon. If Tom Holland knows what the plans are, he's being good and staying quiet. Traditionally, J.Jonah Jameson is the editor of The Daily Bugle newspaper where Peter Parker works as a photographer. However, traditionally, Jameson isn't aware that Peter Parker is Spider-Man. This means that the fact that The Daily Bugle is now a website is far from the only major change that we may see if Jameson and Peter interact in a future film. As great as this scene was a simple cameo, it will be all the better if we get to see more of J.K. Simmons in a future Spider-Man movie. The fact that JJJ could become part of not just Spider-Man movies but the larger MCU is just too wonderful an idea to ignore.
