Aww! Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter are the new kids on the block and are RARING to go with their big ticket mainstream movie, Dhadak. The terrific duo just finished filming and shared a syrupy sweet post on their social media timelines. Janhvi captioned the picture as ‘Home’. Janhvi, Ishaan and Shashank Khaitan, the director of the film, are in a cute group hug in the picture and look all excited to offer their film to masses. Now, we too are totes excited to see this Jodi warm our screens with their reel life love story. For those who don’t know, Dhadak is a Hindi adaptation of a super hit Marathi movie Sairat directed by National Award winner Nagraj Manjule. The movie is a classic love story with a twist and gives out a social message. Dharma Productions and Karan Johar are making sure that the movie has all the elements of a superhit blockbuster which will make both Janhvi and Ishaan household names. We can’t wait to see Shashank’s twist to this iconic tale and of course Ishaan and Janhvi’s chemistry in it. Though this is the first time Janhvi will come on screen, Ishaan has already made his debut with Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi’s Beyond The Clouds. A solid actor, a trained dancer and an amazing performer that he seems to be, Ishaan sure has risen our hopes. Janhvi, on the other hand, has been training to be an actor since a while now and the movie is important for her because her mom, Sridevi, passed away while she was filming for it and it was her dream to see her daughter on 70mm!
