While the Bachchan family has been creating magic on the big screen for years now, Amitabh Bachchan's daughter Shweta Nanda is an exception. Despite having acting in her genes, the 44-year-old chose to stay away from the arc lights. Until now. Earlier this year, Shweta shot for a commercial with her father, and the video is finally here. The one-and-a-half-minute advertisement for a jewellery brand features Amitabh as an old man who displays immense integrity and comes to return the extra pension that he has mistakenly received, while Shweta plays his daughter. Amitabh was moved to tears when he saw the advertisement, and shared it on his Twitter account. "Emotional moment for me .. tears welling up every time I see it .. daughters are the BEST," he wrote. https://twitter.com/SrBachchan/status/1019210031915560960 Talking about his daughter's acting debut, Amitabh had earlier told IANS that while the family has four actors, including himself, wife Jaya Bachchan, son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, it was Shweta who was "the true actress". "I know she won't admit it but she is very good. She does fantastic mimicry. Anywhere we go, some incident happens, she will mimic everybody exactly to the point. She is a good actress," he had said. Shweta, meanwhile, had emphasised that she is not drawn towards a career in front of the cameras. "No. I don't plan on taking acting as a career... It's not a career. The only reason I am doing this is for Kalyan Jewellers," she had said.
