Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were recently in Europe for a vacation. While Alia shared pictures from the vacation, Ranbir was seen practising for Brahmastra in Germany. Back home, there have been rumours that the couple was scouting for wedding venues. However, Alia has dismissed the rumours. Speaking to an entertainment web site, she said: “Kuch bhi!!... This is rubbish. It was just a holiday. Just like that... People say what they want to.” Ever since the high profile weddings of Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas, murmurs had been gaining momentum that Arjun Kapoor-Malaika Arora and Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor would be the next ones to walk down the aisle. Alia and Ranbir reportedly started dating after they met during the shoot of Ayan Mukerji directorial Brahmastra. While rumours started to do the rounds soon after, it was not until May last year that Ranbir confirmed that they were dating. In an interview to GQ Ranbir said: “It’s really new right now, and I don’t want to over speak. It needs time to breathe and it needs space. As an actor, as a person, Alia is - what’s the right word? - flowing right now. When I see her work, when I see her act, even in life, what she gives is something that I’m aspiring to for myself. It’s new for us, so let it cook a bit.” Alia has since shared many pictures, clicked by Ranbir, on Instagram and they have also made several public appearances together. The two are working together for the first time in Brahmastra. The couple, with director Ayan, were in Prayagraj for the logo launch of the film, on Maha Shivratri. The film was scheduled to release in December this year but has been postponed to 2020 release as some of its post production work still remains to be completed.
