After months of speculation about Deepika Padukone's return to xXx series, there's some good news. The actress, who made her Hollywood debut with Vin Diesel's xXx The Return of Xander Cage (2017), will be seen in the fourth installment of the franchise as well. Recently, filmmaker DJ Caruso welcomed popular Chinese singer-actor Wang Yuan to the film. When a fan asked him whether Deepika would be in the film, the director said "Yes!" xXx: The Return of Xander Cage was the third installment in the series after the 2000 film xXx and the 2005 one, xXx: State of the Union. Return of Xander Cage received mixed reviews. Yet, the film did astounding business at the box office and is one of the highest-grossing films of Revolution Studios. Back home, Deepika last starred in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat, and received glowing praise for her portrayal of the mythical Rani Padmini of Chittorgarh. On the personal front, she is planning to tie the knot with Ranveer Singh, in November.
