IBA’s Mortal Kombat XL Tournament Overview
The Computer Science Society of IBA hosted a Mortal Kombat XL tournament during ProBattle’17 on 4th March 2017. The event drew players from across Karachi and included two participants from Lahore. The competition showcased thrilling matches and intense gameplay, highlighting the growing esports scene in Pakistan.
PVGF Players Dominate the Tournament
Tariq Rathore (aka MKRayden), founder of Pakistan Virtual Gaming Forte (PVGF), dominated the tournament. He remained undefeated throughout all rounds and secured 1st place. PVGF co-founder Khalid Malik (aka Krausar) also performed exceptionally well, finishing in 3rd place.
Other notable performances included Hassan Ur Rehman’s comebacks as Sub-Zero and Rameez Arif’s skillful juggling as Kitana. Despite their efforts, PVGF’s players demonstrated superior strategy and experience, taking the top spots in the competition.
