Allu Arjun and Hello director Vikram Kumar to team up for new film

Actor Allu Arjun was upset over the failure of his latest outing, Naa Peru Surya. The film marked the directorial debut of script-writer Vakkantham Vamsi. However, the film lacked cohesive screenplay and fell flat in most places.

But that did not dampen the spirits of Allu Arjun. He has finally moved on to his next project, which will be directed by Vikram Kumar of Manam and Hello fame.

According to a report in a daily, the action drama will be produced by Nallampalu Bujji and Naga Ashok Kumar.

It is said that Allu Arjun was confused as to what his next project should be, given that Naa Peru Surya failed to impress the audience. The actor had a handful of action-oriented scripts to choose from but he went on to tick Vikram Kumar’s project.

“There are several scripts that Allu Arjun came across, including Tamil projects. But the actor wants to take up roles that add to his repertoire. He believes Vikram’s narration has the best potential in this regard,” a source told the daily.

Vikram is fine-tuning his script and Allu Arjun, on the other hand, is prepping for his role.
