Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Padmavati’ has been in the limelight ever since the film’s inception was announced. The film has faced a lot of trouble over the past few months, following which the makers of the film had to postpone the release date of the film. But according to reports, the film will be given a green signal by CBFC today. A source revealed, “There’s been no official intimation from the producers. Whenever they plan to release it, we will be happy to give them the promised number of screens.”
Another source added, “Once the certificate comes, the producers will decide when they want to release ‘Padmavati’. As of now, they’re looking at January 5 and January 12.” The film which stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles was initially supposed to be released on December 1.
