After hit shows like Kkusum, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain and Kya Huaa Tera Vaada, Ekta Kapoor and Sony Entertainment Television are joining hands again, this time for a love story.
Balaji Telefilms is working on a finite series that will be telecast on Sony TV. As per the buzz, Ekta has roped in Iqbal Khan and Mona Singh to star in leading roles.
Iqbal was last seen in Tumhari Paakhi while Mona is seen hosting shows like Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega. Both the actors have earlier worked with Balaji Telefilms. While Mona had played female protagonist in Sony’s Kyaa Hua Tera Vaada, Iqbal was launched by Balaji Telfilms in Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai.
Incidentally, both the actors also started their television career with Sony TV.
It would be interesting to see these two actors paired together even more because the show will be a finite series and hopefully the plot will not be lost in never-ending twists and turns.
