UK-based magazine ‘Eastern Eye’ released their ‘Sexiest Asian women of 2019’ list.
Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt led the ranking at first place for the year 2019, rounding off a year of successful movies for the 26-year-old.
Deepika Padukone, slipped to second place from her lead, but remained the ‘Sexiest Asian Woman of the Decade’ for a second year in a row.
Actress Hina Khan first garnered attention as lead actress in a TV drama, but made her debut at the Cannes Film Festival this year. She has has taken her next step in the international market by signing an Indo-Hollywood film, which is based on HG Wells’ novel ‘The Country of the Blind’.
Pakistani actress Mahira Khan takes the fourth place in the ranking by the UK-based magazine. She has also been named ‘sexiest Pakistani of the decade’.
At fifth position is one of Indian television’s most beloved actors, Surbhi Chandna. The actress, who stars in Ishqbaaaz, a daily soap that airs in the UAE on Star Plus quit the show in November.
Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif is also among the top 10 at position 6.
Shivangi Joshi is an Indian television actress and was placed at #7.
Yet another TV show star, Nia Sharma has been featured on this list multiple times. She was also named sexiest television star in 2016.
At ninth position is famous Pakistani model, actress and singer Mehwish Hayat who is known for her roles in Load Wedding, Punjab Nahi Jaungi and Actor in Law. She was honoured by the Government of Pakistan with the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz in 2019.
India’s desi girl, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, seems to be busy collecting accolades this December. After being bestowed by the Danny Kaye Humanitarian Award by the Unicef on Tuesday, Chopra was honoured at the 2019 Marrakech Film Festival on Thursday for her outstanding contribution to cinema.
