Shraddha Kapoor will be seen in her next essaying the role of ace badminton player Saina Nehwal in her biopic. She has been undergoing intense training in order to nail the role of Saina. Shraddha was training under Pullela Gopichand and Saina Nehwal both and now after a couple of injuries, Shraddha has now approached Jitesh Padukone from the Padukone Shuttlers Academy to learn better badminton for her character.
As per a source close to the development, “Shraddha was taking a very long time to get the act right because it is not easy for any actress to look like a sportsperson. It is important that she gets the nuances right when she is playing someone like Saina, since she will be under scrutiny. After all, the film is not just about acting, but also about playing the sport.”
Looks like Shraddha is taking some serious inspiration from her alleged beau Farhan Akhtar who also underwent crucial training programmes and fitness regime for his role as Milkha Singh in ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’. Saina Nehwal’s biopic is said to go on floors in February 2018, and so Shraddha is taking her time to look and play exactly like the iconic badminton player.
