Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone to have traditional Sindhi wedding

The countdown for the next big Bollywood wedding has begun. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are expected to tie the knot in November, in Italy.

The latest buzz has it that Ranveer’s family wants a typical Sindhi wedding, with traditional customs, including Saanth, which means that friends and relatives will tear the bridegroom’s clothes.

The two actors are dodging questions, cleverly. When Deepika was asked about her impending wedding, she gave a safe reply, “You will know soon.”

Buzz is that Ranveer and Deepika’s wedding will be a close-knit affair that will be attended only by their families and a few close friends. The couple is expected to host grand receptions once they return to the country as man and wife.

Rumours about the grand wedding have been doing the rounds since the beginning of the year and fuelled further when their family went on a vacation to Maldives. On Neha Dhupia’s chat show, where Deepika appeared with sister Anisha, she was asked to flaunt her ring finger to check if there was a tan. And of course, there was. This was amidst engagement rumours after their Maldives trip.

Sparks flew between Ranveer and Deepika during the making of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela (2013), and the couple has been going strong ever since. Although the two have never admitted to being in a relationship, their adorable public displays of affection speak louder than words.
