The British Soap Awards 2018 are tonight, and many of the most recognisable women in TV have walked the red carpet.
And luckily many of the women in attendance did not crack under the pressure of the cameras, looking stunning in an array of beautiful gowns.
Jennifer Metcalfe, 35, looked chic in a nude off-the-shoulder ruffled dress with delicate polka dots.
She made the most of her bare shoulders by pairing the dress with a stylish updo.
Tilly Keeper, 20, tok a risk in hot pink, which could have clashed with the red carpet – but she pulled it off and looked sensational.
Gillian Taylforth, 62, also wore red, but also looked fantastic. Her fitted gown showed off her age-defying figure.
In fact, red ended up being the colour of the night, with Sophie Porley, 25, showing off every curve in a silk red dress.
And Hedydd Dyla, from Emmerdale, chose a gown that wouldn’t have looked out of place in Hollywood, and she paired this with a deep red lipstick.
Amy Walsh, 31, stood out in a hot pink dress which featured a massive ruffle one shoulder collar.
Not all of the celebs opted for bright reds and pinks, with Sally Carman, 37, choosing a pretty black dress with heavy floral embroidery.
Lucy Fallon, 22, added an ethereal touch to her otherwise plain blue mini dress with a sheer tulle cape. Delicate gold accessories and a classic updo added a pretty finish to the look.
Sadly, not everyone got it quite so right, and there were an array of style disasters on the red carpet tonight.
The cast of Doctors were some of the first to arrive, and sadly many of the women from the show did not get style proceedings off well.
Sarah Moyle chose a black dress with Chinese floral print – but the body pattern and red colour clashed with the carpet.
Andrea Gordon also chose red, wearing a red and black leopard print gown with a bizarre silver panel at the waist.
