Angelina Jolie is not only a passionate activist for women’s rights and education, but she is also a very dedicated mom to her six children. That being said, we have learned what the actress has been teaching her three daughters out of the bunch, and the advice is just priceless!

The woman revealed what wise things she likes to tell the daughters she shares with Brad Pitt: 9-year-old Vivienne, 11-year-old Shiloh, and 13-year-old Zahara.

One of her teachings is to always fight for what you truly believe in.

Jolie tells all of her children that helping others is the most worthwhile thing you can do in life.

In a Women’s Day special of Elle magazine, Angie shared what advice she gives her daughters and it is safe to say her words are very empowering.

‘I tell my daughters, ‘What sets you apart is what you’re willing to do for others. Anybody can put on a dress and makeup. It is your mind that will define you.’ Find who you are, what you think, and what you stand for. And fight for others to have the same freedoms. A life of service’s worth living,’’ Angelina said.

As part of her interview for the magazine, the Hollywood star also discussed with the former Secretary of State John Kerry about her campaign against the use of sexual violence and rape as war weapons.

‘I think of how hard other women fought to get us to where we’re today. Everything counts, from the way you hold yourself in your daily life and educate yourself on your rights, to solidarity with other women around the world,’ Angie explained, adding that when it comes to women’s rights, both females and males should be working together to advance the fight for equality.

‘When it comes down to it, we treat violence against women as a lesser crime still,’ the star pointed out.
