PRINCESS Eugenie has announced she is engaged to long-term boyfriend, Jack Brooksbank, and the pair will marry in the same venue as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The couple, who have been together for seven years, will marry in George’s Chapel in Windsor – the same venue as Prince Harry and US actress Meghan Markle – this autumn.
Princess Eugenie’s parents, the Duke of York and his former wife Sarah Duchess of York, said they were “delighted” to announce the engagement.
In a statement, Buckingham Palace said: “The Duke and Duchess of York are delighted to announce the engagement of Princess Eugenie to Mr Jack Brooksbank.
“Her Royal Highness and Mr Brooksbank became engaged in Nicaragua earlier this month.
“The wedding will take place in the Autumn of 2018 at George’s Chapel in Windsor, with further details to be announced in due course.”
Princess Eugenie, 27, began dating Mr Brooksbank in 2011 after the pair met in the Swiss resort of Verbier back in 2010, as the 31-year-old enjoyed a skiing holiday with his friends.
