The Remo Dsouza directed film Race 3 finally hit screens this Friday. Starring Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Bobby Deol and Saquib Saleem the film has been one of the most anticipated releases this year.
In this box office report we take a look at the opening day collections of Race 3 while comparing the same to previous releases of 2018. Collecting Rs. 29.17 cr, the Salman Khan starrer has managed to surpass the collections of the Tiger Shroff starrer Baaghi 2 that collected Rs. 25.10 cr to become the highest opening day grosser of 2018. In fact, the business of Race 3 has also surpass the collections of other previous releases like Padmavaat that collected Rs. 24 cr, Veere Di Wedding that collected Rs. 10.70 cr, Pad Man that collected Rs. 10.26 cr, Raid that collected Rs. 10.04 cr, Raazi that collected Rs. 7.53 cr, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety that collected Rs. 6.42 cr, and Parmanu – the Story of Pokhran that collected Rs. 4.82 cr.
Now with no competition from previous releases and the Eid weekend ahead the business of Race 3 is expected to see exponential growth over the next few days. In fact, expectation are that Race 3 might just also emerge has the Highest opening weekend grosser of 2018.
