Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif ended 2017 with a bang, thanks to Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger Zinda Hai. While Salman played Tiger, the badass Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) agent, Katrina kicked some serious butt as Zoya, an Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) agent.

The audience lapped up the jaw-dropping action sequences served with a dash of patriotism, and the spy-thriller, a sequel to the 2012 blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger, went on to earn over Rs 300 crore at the domestic box office.

It looks like Tiger and Zoya are all set to return to the big screen for a third time. At a promotional event for Race 3, Salman was quoted by Deccan Chronicle as saying that the sequel was “absolutely happening”.

“The sequel to Tiger Zinda Hai is absolutely happening. I have even heard the plot of it. It is called Zoya Zinda Hai,” he said.

Meanwhile, Salman is currently gearing up for the release of Race 3, which hits the theatres on June 15. Directed by Remo D’Souza, the film also features Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala.

After the release of Race 3, Salman will begin shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar’s period drama Bharat, which marks the return of Priyanka Chopra to home turf aka Bollywood.
