After Salman Khan, who recently gave voice to song Main Taare for Notebook, it is Parineeti Chopra who will turn singer yet again. The actress has started prepping up to sing a song written by Manoj Muntashir. The song will be composed by Amaal Mallik.

The lyricist took to twitter to announce the news and wrote, “Hundreds of tweets every day asking about my next song, so here is the news. My next would be a beautiful single with my #TeriMitti star @ParineetiChopra composed by my super talented friend @AmaalMallik. It’s a song very close to my heart, hope you will love it too.”

Before this song, the Kesari actress has sung a beautiful rendition of Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin for Meri Pyaari Bindu. Parineeti received huge appreciation for her singing after the song. Jigar Saraiya, from Musicians duo Sachin-Jigar who also composed the song, in an interview said that Parineeti is actually a singer. He added, “She understands music; she understands when we talk to her in a certain musical way. There is now a trend of actors singing songs, so if Parineeti would have been the first one to do it, people would have respected an actor singing. Unfortunately, she joined the bandwagon a little late, but she did practice a lot. Many actors in the West are good singers, so I think it’s time for us to accept that actors can sing.”

Parineeti’s latest release Kesari with Akshay Kumar is doing well at box office and has crossed Rs 75 crore mark till its fourth day of release. Parineeti Chopra has a guest appearance as Havildar Ishar Singh’s wife in the film.

Parineeti is also gearing up to star in Saina Nehwal’s biopic. Earlier, Shraddha Kapoor was supposed to play the lead role in the film. But, since she failed to get a grip over the character, the role was passed on to Parineeti.
