Kannada actress Rashmika Mandanna is making rapid progress in her acting career. The actress, who made a mark with the Telugu film Geetha Govindam, has now become one of the leading heroines of the South Indian film industries.

She is next acting in Arjun Reddy fame Vijay Deverakonda’s Dear Comrade and also making her Tamil debut with Karthi’s 19th untitled film. Now, the latest buzz about the actress is that she has been approached by Sanjay Leela Bhansali for his upcoming production venture.

Randeep Hooda is reportedly playing the lead in the film. If the rumours are anything to go by, then Rashmika will have a dream launch in Bollywood. It is said that Rashmika is still in talks with the filmmakers and is yet to give her green signal to the project.

The film will mark the debut of director Balwinder Singh Janjua, who has written for films like Mubarakan, Firangi and Saand Ki Aankh.

A source close to the development told Mumbai Mirror, “Randeep plays a cop in the film which has a lot of twists and turns. Balwinder has been working on the script for a long time and recently started pre-production. He will start the recce shortly.”
