Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor might not be a B-town star yet, but she certainly has made a name for herself with her fashion outings and glamours social circle. The diva has thousands of fan pages dedicated to her and everyone is waiting for her to make her debut on-screen.

Recently, in an interview, dad Sanjay Kapoor opened up on the speculations of Shanaya’s Bollywood debut and said, “Nothing is finalised yet. If the right project happens tomorrow, Shanaya is ready for it.”

As of now, Shanaya is working as an assistant director on the sets of Sharan Sharma’s film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, co-starring her cousin Janhvi Kapoor. Speaking about the same the Mission Mangal actor said that Shanaya was keen on getting hand-on experience and being an AD teaches to interact with everyone, from the spot boys to the producers, and you learn to value people after becoming an actor.

With her cousin Janhvi making waves in Bollywood and her BFF Ananya’s stellar lineup, it will be indeed interesting to what project Shanaya picks to make her mark in the Hindi film industry.

Coming back to Sanjay Kapoor, the actor recently graced the silver screen with Abhishek Sharma’s film The Zoya Factor, co-starring Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan.

Earlier this year he was also seen in Jagan Shakti’s film Mission Mangal, along with Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen, Kirti Kulhari, Sharman Joshi, H. G. Dattatreya, Vikram Gokhale and Sonakshi Sinha. The film was inspired by the lives of Indian scientists who contributed to the Mars Orbiter Mission, India’s first interplanetary expedition.

The film was well-received by the audience and critics alike and it generated over Rs 200 crore at the box-office.
