Superstar Rajinikanth is currently stationed at Darjeeling shooting for his upcoming film, which is being helmed by Karthik Subbaraj. The team will shoot for a long schedule which is expected to go on for 40 days.
Last month, it was rumoured that actress Simran has been approached for a role in the film. According to reliable sources, the actress has indeed given her nod to be part of this project. She will be playing Rajinikanth’s pair in this venture.
In her heydays, Simran went on to act alongside popular actors such as Kamal Haasan, Suriya, Vijay, Ajith, Vijaykanth and Sarathkumar as well. However, she never got to share screen space with Rajinikanth.
This untitled project marks the first collaboration of Simran and Rajinikanth. An official confirmation on the same is yet to be announced.
Vijay Sethupathi, Bobby Simhaa and Sananth play important roles in this film, which is produced by Sun Pictures. Anirudh Ravichander will be composing the music for this film.
