Virat Kohli continued his good run in the ODI series against South Africa. The Indian skipper slammed his second hundred of the series in 3 matches.
This overall was his 34th hundred, also his third ton in South Africa; one in Tests and 2 in ODIs. Kohli’s hundred came in 119 balls that includes 7 fours.
Kohli came in at No. 3 after Rohit Sharma’s fall in the first over of the third ODI at Centurion. He added 140 runs with Shikhar Dhawan for the second wicket. Kohli now has 16 hundreds away from home.
This was also Kohli’s 12th ODI hundred as India skipper, surpassing Sourav Ganguly’s tally of 11. He is now only behind Ricky Ponting and AB de Villiers’s tally of 22 and 13 hundreds as skipper respectively.
