Rohit Sharma became the first man to score three double tons in 50-over format as he smashed unbeaten 208 against Sri Lanka in the 2nd ODI of the three-match series in Mohali. The elegant opener was off to a watchful start before he changed gears and exploded in the second half of the innings. This was his second double hundred against Sri Lanka. He hit 13 fours and 12 towering sixes in his 153-ball knock. The skipper led from the front as India posted 392/4, the team’s 100th 300-plus total in ODIs, a new record.
