Superstar Salman Khan has always added charm and a distinct personality to a reality show and while he was one of the main reasons for viewers to be hooked on to Bigg Boss, Salman is all set to treat his fans by returning with his new reality show 10 Ka Dum season 3. While Salman made his debut to the small screen with this show a decade ago, he had two successful seasons for this show and after eight years, Khan is returning with the third season of the show. But the superstar comes at a price and as per reports in DNA, it will be a whopping Rs 78 crores that the superstar will be paid for hosting 26 episodes of the show, which is Rs 3 crore per episode. The reports further added that the makers are planning for 2 seasons, but for shorter durations. A source told the daily that, “For a long time, Salman was keen on returning to this show. However, the channel wasn’t ready to shell out his asking price. But last year, both parties settled on a fee that they were comfortable with.”

In fact, they are also in the process of signing season 4 as well, of the show. The show is likely to go on-air in June and Salman has also shot for the promo of the show before he left for Race 3’s Bangkok Schedule.

Earlier reports from an online portal stated that, while the makers of Kaun Banega Crorepati 9 will also be behind 10 Ka Dum 3, the show will have an app for the viewers to play the game simultaneously and win some prizes. KBC 9 also had a similar concept, which has now been adapted for Salman’s game show

Adding further, the DNA report stated that Salman will not just be seen on weekends, but will appear on the primetime slot during weekdays. Adding further, the source told the newspaper that, “The makers are still contemplating whether they should air it from Monday to Friday or from Monday to Thursday.”
