A source reveals that Salman Khan will be quitting the Bigg Boss show as a host owing to his health. The actor recently recovered from a health issue called Trigeminal Neuralgia.
Talk about drama, controversies, fights and gossips, the first show that comes to people’s minds is Bigg Boss. And believe it or not, fans love it for that. The show has had 13 seasons now and it is still topping TRP charts. This season, Bigg Boss 13, has crossed all TRP records of past seasons, however, there have been many fights and controversies in this season.
Starting from day one, the fights have been escalating due to one reason or the other. Which has made, host Salman Khan really pissed and angry at several instances. Also, he has mentioned twice in the show that contestants really get on his nerves with their actions and behaviour.
Earlier the makers of the show announced the season’s extension of 5 weeks and when Salman broke the news to the contestants, he mentioned that he might not host the show during the extension period. However, no official announcements about this have been made so far.
Some sources close to the show’s developments have revealed that Salman, who has been hosting Bigg Boss for last 10 seasons, might not return to the show next year. Owing to his health, the actor might quit the show and focus on his films instead.
The source revealed, “Salman has recovered from a health issue called Trigeminal Neuralgia, which doesn’t allow him to get very angry as it will disturb his nerves. But every week, one or the other participant is getting on to his nerves, which is not good for Salman’s health. Hence, this is certainly the last season of the show that he will be hosting.”
“He has been wanting to quit for a few seasons now, but somehow the channel and the production house keep getting him back. But now, he has clearly been told by close ones as well that the show should not hurt him in any manner, as his family and friends are concerned for him,” the source told Deccan Chronicle.
