Dad works too hard, he needs to rest : Abhishek Bachchan

At the launch of Dabboo Ratnani’s annual calendar, Abhishek Bachchan explains the reason for his father’s absence.
Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan is known for his professionalism when it comes to a work commitment. The actor always makes sure to fulfill his promises come what may. Recently the megastar was to attend Bollywood photographer Dabboo Ratnani’s 2018 calendar launch at a famous hotel in Mumbai.

But owing to his ill health the actor had to opt out of the event. Nevertheless, the actor took to his Twitter account to issue an apology and stated that doctors were trying hard to get him back in shape for an important function on Thursday.

Reportedly, Big B was complaining of having pain in his back, especially the spine area. Abhishek attended the event and represented his father instead. Talking about Amitabh’s health, he said, “He’s fine, he has to rest. He had to get back to work again, so I have told him to rest.” He further added that Amitabh is a workaholic. “Dad works too hard. He just needs to rest. He will be fine,” said Abhishek. Talking about Dabboo, the actor said, “I know him from school. I know the entire family. When the year starts with his calendar launch, it should be good.” Well, we certainly hope Amitabh recovers soon. Stay tuned for more updates.
