The last time Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor appeared together on television it had created a major controversy of sorts after the two of them couldn’t stop commenting about a certain Kapoor. Well, yet another piece of news spread like wild fire when Sonam recently took a dig at Deepika Padukone’s fashion sense showcasing their not-so-good relation but it seems that Deepika didn’t consider it as offensive. At a recent chat show called Vogue BFFs, in fact, Deepika chose Sonam for her fashion statements.
Earlier we had given a glimpse of Deepika Padukone enjoying a rather fun stint with her sister Anisha Padukone and host Neha Dhupia at the latter’s popular chat show Vogue BFFs, season 2. While audience eagerly waited to see off screen chemistry between the real sisters, it seems that the episode had a lot more of interesting scoops too. For one, it was intriguing to see Deepika pick Sonam Kapoor over Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
While we have rarely seen the two exchange lovely words for each other since their appearance on Koffee With Karan, Sonam Kapoor had last taken a dig at Deepika Padukone stating that she should create her own style. In a round called ‘Say or Strip’ during the show, Deepika Padukone was asked to make a choice between Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor over their Cannes looks. Incidentally, Deepika too was a part of Cannes this year for the same brand that the other ladies endorse and the actress picked Sonam stating that she liked her looks better than Aishwarya.
On the other hand, in yet another question, Sonam Kapoor was pitted against Anushka Sharma wherein Deepika Padukone was asked to select her favourite amongst the actress’ fashion brands Rheson and Nush. This time around, Deepika decided to favour Anushka adding that Sharma’s designs resonate with her personal style better.
