With the glowing success of Raazi, Alia Bhatt has emerged as one of the most bankable actresses in Bollywood. The espionage thriller, despite being made on a small budget, has entered the Rs 100-crore club. Fans and celebrities can’t stop praising Alia’s performance in the film.

Recently, Kangana Ranaut watched Raazi, and is full of awe for Alia. “I really liked Raazi. [Director] Meghna Gulzar has done a splendid job. And I have no words to express how much I liked Alia’s performance. She is so good. I think Alia is most definitely the undisputed queen. It’s Alia’s world and we are just living in it,” she said.

Kangana, who is busy with shooting for Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, told IANS, “Meghna and Alia invited me on the trial of their film, but I couldn’t attend it because I was busy shooting for my film, then I promised them that I will watch it soon. I am going to send Alia a congratulatory message for Raazi.”

Asked whether Manikarnika will create the same magic, Kangana replied, “When I watch another actor’s work, I don’t compare my film with it. And when I watch a film, I only think about that actor. This film’s cast and crew deserves all the credit for the success of the film.”

Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi relates the heroic real-life story of the warrior queen Rani Laxmibai, and her role in the sepoy rebellion of 1857.

The release date of the film has not yet been confirmed, though there are rumours that it will hit the screens in September.
