Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were to team up for Shailesh R Singh’s production last year. There was a lot of curiosity about the project as they were to play a cop couple in the thriller. The latest is that the makers have tweaked the script on Ash’s suggestion. The duo will be given a joint narration soon. The makers are hopeful that they will give their final nod and the film rolls later this year.
The source further added that Ash wanted some changes in the script, which was not agreed to, which might have lead to her bowing out of the project. “Ash is choosy about her projects. She had some issues with the script and wanted a few changes, which had not happened. Meanwhile, she signed another film (the remake of Raat Aur Din). Abhishek also took up a few movies. Since the whole idea was to get Abhi and Ash together on screen, once she backed out, he too found the whole thing pointless. There were budget issues as well,” the source concluded.
