Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra had the first of their two Mumbai receptions last night at the JW Marriott. The newlyweds looked like a match made in heaven as they posed, hand-in-hand, for the shutterbugs. While Priyanka looked drop-dead gorgeous in midnight blue brocade anarkali with silver floral prints, Nick perfectly complemented her in a grey pantsuit.

An inside video of the celebration has surfaced on the internet, and netizens cannot stop awww-ing over it. In the clip, Priyanka is seen thanking the guests and introducing them to “my husband Nick Jonas” amid loud cheers.

Following this, Nick made a heartfelt speech, in which he said that he “couldn’t be happier” with his “beautiful wife”. He started the speech on a funny note, by joking that this was his “first show in India”.
“It wasn’t too far from here that I took Madhu (Chopra, Priyanka’s mother) out for lunch and asked if I could marry her daughter. To be here with all of you, who have helped shape who she has become, means a lot to me. You have welcomed me with such open arms. So thank you for that. Tonight is about celebrating and spending some time together. My first introduction to all of you. So thank you again and thanks to Madhu for putting this together and my beautiful wife. (turning to Priyanka) I couldn’t be happier being with you,” he said.
Nick and Priyanka exchanged marital vows over two days – December 1 and 2 – at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. The couple will host a glitzy reception at Taj Lands End tonight, which is expected to be attended by the who’s who of Bollywood.
