Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are painting the town red. From arriving together at Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding reception to dining out with Ranbir’s family, Alia and Ranbir are making it official in every possible way. While the link-up rumours were doing rounds from quite some time, it was Ranbir who confirmed it by saying, “it’s too new. Let it cook for some time.”

And ever since the two can’t get enough of each other. From shooting together for Brahmastra to social media PDA, Alia and Ranbir are sending their fans into a tizzy.

Recently Alia’s half-sister Pooja Bhatt was asked about Ranbir and Alia’s relationship status. While the Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi actress initially tried to dodge the question, she later told Indian Express, “I think that this is her time in the sun. We should just let that young girl be and enjoy her life because I think she is doing her job of entertaining India and the world really well.”

“So, what she does or does not do in her personal life is really her problem. How she chooses to lead her life is her problem. My father and me have a different approach to it. She has a different approach to it. So, I think we should just let people be who they are,” added Pooja.

Buzz has it that Ranbir officially asked Alia to be his girlfriend on New Year’s Eve last year, while they were in Bulgaria for their film, Brahmastra.

Ranbir and Alia are set to come together on the big screen for the first time in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. The two have are currently shooting for the next leg of the film in Mumbai.

Brahmastra, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy, is being made as a fantasy trilogy, the first installment of which is slated to release in 2019.
